Sarah Lou is a graduate of the Limerick School of Art and Design. She was awarded a Graduate Residency at the National Sculpture Factory and completed a residency in Lisbon with Capacity Ireland in 2024. Her moving-image practice was recognised with the 2024 Parallax Emerging Film Artist Award. In 2025, she received the Jane Anne Rothwell Award for her installation Fruiting Futures at Cork Midsummer Festival, and later presented her debut solo exhibition, Stolen Sealskin, at the Cork International Film Festival.
