Stephanie Noble
When we’ve allocated this artists their space, this map will display the location.
Stephanie is a visual artist based in Belfast, her work attends to what remains after the landscape has passed through perception, use, weather and time. She gathers the overlooked traces of the environment: cut logs, grasses and organic debris and views them as carriers of memory, evidence of cycles of growth, decay, harvest and dispersal. At its core, the practice is an exploration of presence through absence – of what is left behind, overlooked or in the process of disappearing. These works transform fragments of the everyday environment into quiet meditations on impermanence, attention and our relationship to the more-than-human world.
