Tereza Frindová is a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague (2018-2014) who works with drawing, painting and sculpture.

‘In my paintings and drawings, I create my own system of gathering. I collect gestures, shapes, and relationships that emerge in everyday life—sometimes consciously, other times merely as casually captured glimpses. I then piece these fragments back together, yet never into a complete whole.

‘I work with images as open archives where layers of memories, hints, and silence are constantly rearranged. I leave open space between them, allowing them to shift depending on who is looking at them and when. Drawing, for me, is fundamentally a game. It is a playful space where I test the boundaries of these fragments, allowing intuition to take over from logic.

‘Through drawing, the hand becomes a direct extension of thought—capturing impulses before they can be rationalized. My language is not linear. It is a map that can be read in many ways—with no certainty as to where it begins or ends.’
